What are your venue inclusions?
Before booking your venue, make sure you know everything that is included (and not included) in your rental fee. At Red Gate Farms, we aim to make your wedding day go as smoothly as possible. That’s why we provide our couples with chairs, tables, and linens for their ceremonies, cocktail hours, and receptions. We also offer your wedding guests plenty of parking space — which is hard to come by in Savannah! In addition, our couples receive three hours in our dressing rooms in order to prepare for the big day ahead. An expert Wedding Consultant, who will provide expert suggestions from our extensive Preferred Vendors List, is also included in the venue fee.
To make your wedding day as relaxing and enjoyable as possible, we also handle the setup and clean-up of all Red Gate Farms inclusions. No need to worry that your ceremony chairs or décor won’t arrive on time — we have it all covered! Plus, who wants to clean up after a night of merriment, dancing, and delicious cocktails?!
Are there any additional fees?
Unfortunately, some venues have hidden fees that can add thousands of dollars to your overall costs. Luckily for couples who host their wedding at Red Gate Farms, we prefer to keep our pricing transparent. No matter which venue you may choose on our property, we have several different pricing options that can suit any budget. When it comes to our bar packages, the costs to cover the bartenders, mixers, and sodas are all included in our competitive price per person.
Do I have to use your vendors?
We have worked hard over the years to develop amazing relationships with the area’s most trustworthy and talented vendors. To make your wedding day and the entire planning process go as smoothly as possible, we always recommend that our couples choose from our Preferred Vendors list. However, it is not always required. If you are planning to have a bar at your reception, we do require our couples to purchase through us. While you are not required to use our preferred caterers, there is a fee if you choose to opt for an outside caterer, and there are some specific requirements they must meet. For all other vendors, there is no additional fee, however, we do require all vendors to be professionals with a business license and liability insurance.
What if it rains on our wedding day?
We know many couples dream of getting married outdoors, and with stunning natural beauty at nearly every turn on our property, we know this is especially true at Red Gate Farms!
While Savannah weather is typically gorgeous and agreeable, there are times when Mother Nature can be a bit unpredictable. In the case of not-so-sunny skies, we have rain plans prepared far in advance to help make your dream wedding a reality, rain or shine. As an added bonus, there is no additional charge for your rain plan!
Who will be my Venue Contact once I book?
As soon as you decide on Red Gate Farms as the venue of your dreams, we’ll assign you with a professional Client Manager to help you along the way. Once you’re all booked, your Client Manager will sit down with you to go over all of the large and small details of your big day while also connecting you to every vendor you may need. Thirty days from your wedding date, the same Client Manager will meet with you to ensure everything is going as planned and all details are covered. He or she will also provide you with a diagram that outlines how the space will be set up for your ceremony and celebration for you to approve. All of these services are included in your venue fee, at no additional cost to you!
