Do you have an in-house event consultant?
What are your venue inclusions?
Before booking your venue, ensure you know everything included (and not included) in your rental fee. At Red Gate Farms, we aim to make your wedding day seamless and stress-free. We handle the setup and clean-up of the provided chairs, tables, and linens for your ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. No need to worry that your ceremony chairs or décor won’t arrive on time — we have it all covered! Plus, who wants to clean up after a night of merriment, dancing, and delicious cocktails?!
What decor is included in the venue?
Red Gate Farms is blessed with an abundance of natural beauty, making it unnecessary to add much decor to enhance the ambiance. We understand the importance of creating a picturesque setting for your special day. The stunning landscapes, lush meadows, and charming architecture serve as the perfect backdrop for your wedding ceremony and reception. Whether it's the scenic views or beautiful spaces, every corner of the venue exudes its own unique charm. Moreover, the furnishings, lighting, and drapings you see during your tour are all part of the venue fee. You won't need to worry about any additional costs for these elements, as they are included in the package. Red Gate Farms takes pride in ensuring that all aspects of your wedding experience are taken care of, giving you peace of mind and allowing you to focus on enjoying your big day. With all the natural beauty offered and the included decor elements, you can be confident that your wedding day will be perfectly beautiful.
Where will my guests park?
Red Gate Farms has abundant parking close to each ceremony and reception location. No matter the venue you choose, your wedding guests will have plenty of parking spaces — which is hard to come by in Savannah! Plus, guests can leave their car overnight and pick it up the next day by noon at no additional cost or worry of getting a parking ticket.
Do you have touch-up suites or dressing rooms?
Our venues have beautiful touch-up suites, each with its own unique features. The Barn has attached touch-up suites for both wedding parties. One of the touch-up suites offers a screen porch, while the other gives you a grand entrance to your ceremony. The Grainery has access to the Belle Tower for touch-ups. One suite has access to a furnished wrap-around porch with panoramic views of the property, while the other has a private porch and bathroom. As an added bonus, you have access to the touch-up suites for up to three hours prior to the ceremony.
Are there any additional fees?
Unfortunately, some venues have hidden fees that can add thousands of dollars to your overall costs. Luckily for couples who host their wedding at Red Gate Farms, we prefer to keep our pricing transparent. No matter which venue you choose on our property, we have several different pricing options that can suit any budget. Our service fee is included in our venue price, and there are no additional processing fees.
Do you have an in-house event consultant?
As soon as you decide on Red Gate Farms as the venue of your dreams, we’ll assign you a professional in-house event consultant to help you along the way. Once you’re all booked, your event consultant will sit down with you for a kickstart meeting to get to know you both, go over all of the large and small details of your big day, with the focus being on your vision, budget, and all the aspects that hold the utmost importance to you both. From there, you will get a personalized Wedding Map, a comprehensive guide that includes a curated list of vendors that suit your specific needs. Thirty days from your wedding date, your event consultant will meet with you to ensure everything is going as planned and all details are covered. They will also provide you with a diagram that outlines how the space will be set up for your ceremony and celebration for you to approve. All of these services are included in your venue fee at no additional cost to you!
Do I have to use your vendors?
We have worked hard over the years to develop amazing relationships with the area’s most trustworthy and talented vendors. To make your wedding day and the entire planning process go as smoothly as possible, we always recommend that our couples choose from our Preferred Vendors list. However, it is not always required. If you are planning to have a bar at your reception, we do require our couples to purchase through us. While you are not required to use our preferred caterers, there is a fee if you choose to opt for an outside caterer, and there are some specific requirements they must meet. For all other vendors, there is no additional fee. However, we do require all vendors to be professionals with a business license and liability insurance.
Can I have both my ceremony and reception on-site?
At Red Gate Farms, you can have both your ceremony and reception on-site. Unlike many places in Savannah, Red Gate Farms offers this convenience, allowing you to host both events at the same location. This not only saves you and your guests from the hassle of traveling to separate venues but also eliminates the need for finding two different parking spots. Having both your ceremony and reception at the same venue offers a level of ease and convenience for everyone involved. You and your newlywed will appreciate the convenience of not having to rush from one location to another, allowing you to fully enjoy and immerse yourselves in the special moments of your wedding day. Additionally, hosting your ceremony and reception at a single venue provides ample opportunity for capturing beautiful photos throughout the entire property. With various scenic spots on-site, you can easily take advantage of these stunning backgrounds, creating timeless memories for you and your loved ones. Ultimately, choosing a venue that allows for an on-site ceremony and reception ensures a smooth, stress-free wedding experience for all while also offering picturesque settings and easy accessibility for everyone involved.
What if it rains on our wedding day?
We know many couples dream of getting married outdoors, and with stunning natural beauty at nearly every turn on our property, we know this is especially true at Red Gate Farms! While Savannah weather is typically gorgeous and agreeable, there are times when Mother Nature can be a bit unpredictable. In the case of not-so-sunny skies, we have rain plans prepared far in advance to help make your dream wedding a reality, rain or shine. Most venues require you to make a decision the evening before or the morning of your wedding day. At Red Gate Farms, we can change the rain plan up to thirty minutes before the ceremony starts. Your rain plan and the change-over come at no additional cost to you!
Do you provide bar service and bartenders?
When it comes to our bar packages, the costs to cover the bartenders, mixers, and sodas are all included in our competitive price per person. Each beverage package comes with 4 hours of service and two bartenders for every 75 guests.
